Social change needs care

Network of Empathy is a community of young professionals united by a belief:

empathy drives action and is the force behind systemic change.

Through intentional spaces, resources and relationships rooted in collective care, we nourish emotional wellbeing and sustain collective action for lasting change.

Young changemakers are at the frontlines of addressing today’s most urgent crises -

from climate breakdown to growing inequality and threats to democracy.

Often underpaid, underrepresented, under attack, and under stress, sustaining long-term changemaking is a challenge.

One in three changemakers (33.1%) report experiencing some form of burnout, yet 4.9% have no coping strategy for managing stress.

They are urgently asking for support in the areas of collaboration (86.2%) and personal development (81%).

We create different ways for young changemakers and activists worldwide to connect and support each other. Whether you're looking for a community of care or just want meaningful connection to ressource yourself from time to time, we are creating spaces and resources that feel safe and enable authentic connection - built on empathy, storytelling, and care.

noe fellowship

Community-based immersive programme consisting of workshops and peer learning.

noe circle

Moderated online gatherings that bring together young changemakers and activists to share openly about the challenges they face, process their emotions, and reconnect with the values and visions that sustain their activism and change-making.

noe experience

Our annual retreat during which explore a single, pressing issue in depth, such as burnout, while nurturing connection and collective care. Our next experience will be in spring 2026.

We tell the stories of changemakers from across the world to spark inspiration, build connection and motivate action.

When we listen to different stories, we not only practice active listening but also grow empathy. Moreover, we reconnect with our shared humanity and the potenial for collective action that it holds.
