Why empathy?
Empathy is not a soft skill. It is the reason you act, the force that moves you toward injustice, toward care, toward the hard and necessary work of change.
But empathy without support becomes a drain. When the systems you're working in are extractive and the emotional weight is unacknowledged, the very thing that makes you a powerful change maker can become the thing that breaks you.
